Discovery Insure NOT RECOMMENDED

I really regret swapping my insurance from Outsurance to Discovery insurance. I claimed for my wife's pc due to load shedding. We think it is load shedding that caused this because the computer was working fine before the lights went off. It started off with the conversation that they will send their IT to collect the computer, which I was sceptical about at first because that is a new experience for me. The way the man spoke to me felt like that was not the right thing to do, although I agreed. The week after, I had to phone in just to find out they do not have a supplier that fixes computers in our area. I asked if I should take it to the nearest computer place, and they agreed. I phoned in after a few days or a week to follow up, as they do not take 48 hours as they say. They said to me the report from the vendor is not valid due to it not stating what the actual cause of the damage is. I phoned the computer company and requested they must resend the report with the correct information on it. When I received it, I phoned discovery again, and they gave me an email whom I can send it to. After a very long time of follow-up and wasting my airtime on them, one person out of many that helped me, told me the claim was declined due to the report not stating the cause of damage. I told a few of the consultants, that I phoned over the weeks, that I did send the correct report as requested by them. The last person I spoke to said to me that the email they gave me was not a valid email. He took my report and my case to his senior and said the next day he will let me know what was going on. It has been another week again without any progress phone calls from these guys. I urge anyone that might consider swapping to them as your insurer to reconsider.
