Discovery insure not interested in new bussiness

Recently in response to a Discovery Insure television adverti*****t I requested a quotation as I was considering changing from my current insurer of in excess of 20/25 years. I received the quotation and upon perusing it (Small print included) I had many questions and required explanations on some of the clauses. Also, the sum insured values were based on the current insurer and probably need to be revised. Today, I called Vusi at the call centre to request the assistance I need. He informed me that I need to increase the contents value for a person to come out and assess it. I gave him the go ahead to do such. He than started asking questions about Banking details etc. which I refused to give him as I have not decided on changing insurers. A while later I received a call, from Clinton, probably his supervisor who explained that I need to increase the value of the insured contents, AND make the change to Discovery Insure, whereby within 5 days, an assessor will come and inspect. Firstly, I have not made the decision to switch and I would like to be insured for the correct values from day one, instead of making changes later which would probably be messed up anyway.
