Discovery Insure - no communication

I lodged a claim for lightning damage and after some back and forth most of my claim was agreed to be paid out. Again I had to wait for payment confirmation for several days only to find that one claim amount had been reduced without explanation? Someone had called me to ask if they could collect the damaged items to which I rep**** - yes. However skeptical why discovery had not informed me of such I mentioned I wanted to wait until the claim was paid in full.
