Discovery Insure leaves homeowner to fend for herself !!

Poor, slow and terrible service!!

On 12 June 2018 I got bitten by a dog in my face. The homeowners of the house immediately advised that their home insurance with Discovery will pay all my uncovered medical expenses and future expenses to ensure that the wounds and scaring in my face are taken care off.

It has been more than four months and nothing has transpired! All the various outstanding doctor bills etc are threatening legal handover, which can be understood as the accounts have been outstanding for more than 120 days!! I am making payments on most of them - as far as one can afford!!

Emails take forever to be rep****. There is no communication between the team leader and team. As and when you phone and get hold of them - they are full of excuses. Name and shame - Rozannah Singh and her team leader Zweli Mashele are of absolute no help!!

I will never advise anyone to take out discovery insurance as the poor homeowner is left to make up excuses for them everyday! No interim payment suggestions are offered and one cannot expect them to give you any clarity on the road ahead.
