Discovery insure & its after market parts..
I had my windscreen replaced with Discovery insure thinking that its "discovery" and the amount that one forks out on a monthly basis not to forget the access fee one would expect the best.. Only to find out that Discovery allows their service providers to install and fit after market parts/front windscreens which i only found out 4"months after i had it fitted one can feel/hear that its not an original screen.. Reason im posting is that iv mailed their agent and also discovery insure a week ago and i haven't received any response from them ...
This is seriously not "VALUE FOR MONEY & certainly no OPENNESS & TRANSPARENCY"

We note and affirm that Industry approved "aftermarket " parts may be considered provided that they don't compromise the safety and reliability of the vehicle and the workmanship. This is applicable on out of warranty vehicles and largely on the merits of the claim.
This being In our efforts to help keep insurance premiums low as the cost of repairs has risen significantly over the years.
