Discovery Insure is ridiculous

I had my brake pads replaced yesterday. The Chery workshop took the car for a test drive to make sure everything was OK. Discovery Insure deducted 10 points for an "uncovered trip" because my phone was not present. I had to submit the invoice as proof that my car was at the workshop. Now I'm told it will take 5-7 workdays to investigate, which means I'll lose my perfect drive week anyway! I have been a Diamond driver for years, yet I am now penalised when I take my car for regular maintenance! This is beyond ridiculous!
