Discovery insure is not as reputable as we think.

I had an accident with my vehicle on 21/02/2015, and i had logged a claim on the 23/02/2015 of which was a monday. Mr Erwin from discovery insure had told me that the vehicle would be assessed within 3 days. after 2 weeks i had called them back due to no response from them, i was then told my vehicle was not found at the SMD LOT IN PRETORIA. My vehicle was then later assessed on the 13/03/2015. i was given a AVIS hired vehicle for 30days and it had to be returned due to the 30days period being expired and discovery still has not paid me and i had requested for the car hire be extended on their behalf due to the delay on their side. But again i was ignored and i currently have no vehicle and no form of transport in which i now have to take leave from work and stay at home. I was then told by discovery that they would only pay me R49000 for my car and R4500 for my rims and tyres which was insured for retail value of R52000 and rims R5000 and this was confirmed by ERWIN MULLER. With addition discovery wants to take away R4000 for old damages on the car which is not true as i have been at smd and have proof that the car has non of old damages. I had never expected such from DISCOVERY.
