Discovery insure is absolutely useless

Discovery insure is an absolute shame. My wife recently moved over to Discovery insure, and Discovery refused to insure the vehicle unless she installed the new "state of the art" technology Crowdsearch tracker. When she installed it at Discoverys premises, the told her the tracker is a live tracker plus there is the added benefit of ping tracking that will ping off all other Discovery users who have the app to locate the vehicle faster. This was an absolute lie, there is no live tracking with crowdsearch and its only a ping tracking. My wife had tracker in her car and was asked to remove it because the crowdsearch was being installed. Yesterday, the 2nd October 2021, my wife's polo was ******. We immediately reported it in a +-10minute window. The customer service for ****** vehicles is terrible, Discovery did not give updates, we had to call numerous times to get information on this useless technology and what was happening with he car. Everytime we called, they said they couldn't provide feedback as they are waiting for a ground team to provide feedback. Only after +- 8 hours of numerous calls and complaints, did Discovery themselves call back to explain concerns we had about the tracking unit installed and that the last time they got a "not so accurate ping" was around 2pm in soweto. It has been almost 24hours and still no word on where the car is using this "state of the art technology". The most upsetting part is not the car being ******, it's the fact that (and thank god) if someone was taken with the car, Discovery are absolutely useless and helpless in tracking the car. Discovery are absolute shams!!! They sell the dream but are not transparent and honest in what they provide. The technology they use does not work (proven) and they are not hands on when a vehicle is ******. A silly two cars were sent out on the ground to try ping the car in soweto and still no word on the car. The car is probably stripped down. Thank God no one was in the vehicle. Please be careful with discovery
