Discovery Insure - great claim experience

I recently had some of my pipes leaking Cape Town's precious water away. As the leaking was hidden from sight, I only realized something was wrong when I received my water bill - R38,371 above my normal usage!

I tried claiming this from my Standard Bank Home Owner's policy but they stated that water leaks were not covered. However, I was pleasantly surprised that my Discovery Insure House Contents policy covered water leaks up to an amount of R5,000. The Discovery consultant Jane Legodi was very helpful and efficient and after I had supp**** proof of the leaks and that they had been fixed, I was promptly paid R5,000. I am still very out of pocket but nonetheless appreciative that Discovery Insure have eased the burden. Well done Discovery!
