Discovery insure fast track

My husband and I were involved in an accident over 5 weeks ago. The claims process was smooth, it was assessed and the claim was approved. The car was put on an express repair meaning it would take a maximum of 5 days to repair and would have my car back. During that time they booked my car in for repairs, Discovery booked a curtesy car (will do an Avis review because I got horrible customer service). The panel beater was waiting for car part to be delivered before I took the car I’m for the express repair service of which day 1 would be the 14th, My rental was seemingly extended on a week by week basis and could be done via e-mail. However after the supposed 5 days after booking my car in, I sent an email for an extension since my car was not fixed but didn’t get a reply this time until I called: I was told it was extended to the 25th but the person who assisted me seems to have forgotten to call Avis. To my surprise called me asking me why I hadn’t brought back the car that was due for return 3 days ago. I called Discovery insure and explained what had happened and I didn’t get any assistance because the same thing happened again (verbal confirmation of extension but didn’t liaise with Avis so they called again the next day, in my attempt to close the communication loop, I got the lovely Thando Ngwenya who was able to assist me with my extension fully and followed up on my car’s repair delay. She went over and beyond and asked her manager if I could be refunded my November premium as per the express T&Cs which I wasn’t aware of. It went a long way. I collected my car on the 25th but there are still a few things that were not finished including an inaccurate plate number vds. Hoping to finalise everything soon
