Discovery Insure

I cancelled my insurance policy today and Kurt provided me with excellent service.

That being said, it's a pity that the company looked to increase my premiums by a whopping 13% given the tough economic times we face as a nation. I repaid that kindness by appointing a broker who shopped around and got me much better terms than what Discovery would offer. To me, one would think that going direct would be a better option for Discovery, because it saves them fees in commission, however, I now see the error of my ways. The company will gladly take loyal customers for a ride because they supposedly don't understand the industry, but give your business to a broker and voila! better premiums. That's not cool! I am rather disappointed with the company's impersonal manner in which they attempted to increase my premiums, with little to no understanding of my personal financial situation. I also have a number of other products with them and I am shocked that they do not take this into account when incentivising customers. I can't and will not accept ****************, so thank you Discovery Insure, but no thanks. Who knows, my life policy may be next...
