Discovery Insure Driving App faulty and nothing done about it

I was driving on the 26th of August in Constantia and stopped on the side of the road, turned the engine off, and set up Google maps to reach a specific destination. I was penalised by 24 points for use of cellphone while driving. I contacted Discovery Insure via the WhatsApp number and a customer care by the name Amu connected with me at 14h07. I explained my issue and provided a screenshot of the trips details. She told me that the platform is not able to verify if the vehicle was stationary or moving and therefore nothing could be done. I asked how is it possible that a system penalises the driver for use of cellphone while driving but there is no way to verify if the vehicle was parked or moving. The reply was that the sensor might take a while to record that the vehicle is not moving, hence the penalisation. Amo gave no way forward or solution to the problem. I am now considering moving away from Discovery Insure unless I am provided with a reasonable feedback and a proof that the Sensor actually detects accurately if the car is moving, otherwise it is a complete *****. I asked Amo to speak to a manager but that was also not possible. Perhaps Discovery Insure will make contact now with this review...This is not the first time I had an issue. I was once parked in my garage after arriving home and was again penalised for cellphone use while driving. I queried relentlessy but the customer care at Discovery Insure is either ***********, or the system faulty and they cannot get it to work correctly.
