Discovery Insure DQ
I’ve had discovery DQ tracker installed awhile ago , discovery talks about there Driving DNA to detect when your vehicle is driving abnormally, well when my car was driving abnormally in a emergency, there was no call or follow up to check if it’s me or if I’m ok, so do we pay for a service we don’t get or is this DNA thing just a gimmick? Been trying for nearly 2 weeks now to get a answer from discovery but your emails go unanswered! Or passed on to the relevant department without any replies ?

Thank you for your comment. Driver DNA works on a threshold of events, In order for the abnormal driving to trigger an alert a certain number of events must be registered. The DQ track unit in your vehicle records events such as harsh acceleration, braking, cornering etc. Once the trip reflects a number of these events it will register an alert to our Emergency services division for intervention.
We do apologise for the delay experienced and can confirm that the DQ unit in your vehicle is fully functional.
