Discovery Insure does NOT value long term loyal customers

11 Years of being a client of Discovery Insure. Today I got comparative insurance quotes after Discovery increased my monthly premium by almost R 600 a month. Two of the other insurers on like for like cover came out between R800 and R 1000 cheaper than Discovery Insure.

When contacting the Discovery Insure contact center, they tried to sell me the value of their benefits rather than focusing on my real concern about such drastic differences in my premium with them. (Baby Seats, and Fuel Rewards does not even cover 20% of the delta in the quoted premiums).

Discovery Insure does not value their clients and customer loyalty. For the consultants to just offer me the option to cancel my insurance as the way out of their premium is so bad.

I am now left with the only option but to pursue my Insurance needs with someone else, and end my relationship with Discovery.
