Discovery Insure delaying my refund!

I cancelled my policy on the 5th March 2020, and I was advised that my refund in lieu of my March payment would be made between 7 and 10 working days after my DQ tracker was removed. The appointment to remove my DQ tracker was the 10th March. I called on the 17th March to find out when could I expect my refund, this should have been around the 26th to 31st March. The consultant informed me that the refund would be 7 to 10 working days from the 17th March! Does this mean that I would not have received my refund if I didn't call to enquire? The clock should have started ticking from the 11th March at the latest, when the DQ tracker was removed. I demand my money back by the 31st March at the latest!
