Discovery Insure declined my claim with no proper reason

Discovery Insure convinced me a few months ago to switch to them from First for Women (content) and Outsurance (car). I had to unfortunately claim recently on damages to the car and had no issues with the claim. I cannot say the same for the content insurance. With First for women content insurance I never had to specify anything. Everything that was inside the house was covered as long as I had proof I could provide on the day a claim is made. I made a claim recently and got denied because I didn't specify that I own the item anywhere. Starting to wonder if I made a mistake moving my content insurance to Discovery Insure.
