Discovery Insure Cheats

Discovery are now becoming a cheating company. I have canceled my insurance on 5/1/2023 and they are still taking my debit orders for the last 2 months. I have made a claim knowing that my policy was still active as they took my subscriptions for loss of fridge items and they rejected it as they claim that they don’t cover that in their policies at all for no clients. I was promised after several communications that my subscriptions will be refunded this month and adjusted and that did not happen. I am now fed up of calling them and hearing promises that has not materialized for the past 2-3 months. I have be penalized by my bank for some of my debit that didn’t go through for last 2 months as they have drew the money. It’s almost 6 transactions amounting to R 900.00 . They will never call you back or follow up on your queries and play dumb until you call them. Make the promises that never happens. They now owe me a refund of almost R 6000.00 and I think they will pocket it. No ethics of their business principles they claim on social media. Just a greedy company ripping the public off. Think twice before you do any business with them or just move your insurance to other companies as they are no where near competitive and will not Claims before trying to make you understand why it’s rejected and enforce access charges even if you took it with zero access. Don’t be fooled by them, they are genuine cheats from my experience with them in the last 2 months of contact with them. I am highly frustrated with them and the lies and ***** promises they make.
