Discovery Insure - Assessors assume you are lying

My car went into the ditch on the side of a driveway and the impact cracked my washer bottle and my airconditioner pipe. The fluid from my airconditioner leaked out and so did the fluid from my washer bottle. Discovery approved for my washer bottle to be replaced and my bumper to be fixed at the Panel Beaters. The assessor however stated that my airconditioner pipe was maintenance related. My car was at the panel beaters for 16 days and I drove it out today with my airconditioner still not working and broken. So what was the point? I don't understand how an assessor can state that it was maintenance related when my washer bottle was cracked from the impact and you could see the damage that was done to the bumper. The mechanics at the panel beater saw the damage to my airconditioner pipe. My airconditioner worked perfectly before the impact. I was the one driving the car, I know exactly what happened. I could even take pictures of the ditch. I could explain in detail how it happened to an ordinary civilian and it would make full sense. But no, an assessor who merely reads a report has to decide whether you are lying or not. Did Discovery have an airconditioner specialist to evaluate my airconditioner before declining the quote and deciding whether I was lying or not? No. Did Discovery assume that it was maintenance related by reading my report? Yes. Well Discovery I am not lying and you know what neither are most of your clients. It's pretty disappointing to drive out your car from the panel beaters knowing that the issue hasn't been solved. Lastly nobody at the panel beaters could understand why you declined the quote to fix my airconditioner when they all agreed that the damage was accident related.
