Discovery insure are a con

When i took out my car insurance via telephone I was told that there was no excess payable on anything. Then i received the policy schedule and noted a R3500 excess payable. I registered a claim on the 14th of October only to discover that my excess is R6500. If I do this out of pocket the cost is approximately R400 more than the total repair. Discovery is conning me. I will be taking this to the ombutsman and cancelling my insurance
