Discovery Insure Approved Auto Body Shop

Dear Discovery,

Whilst I experienced a good claims process and turnaround time. I am utterly disappointed in the appointed panel beater assigned by Discovery to undertake repairs to my Subaru Impreza.

When I arrived to fetch my vehicle I checked the clips on the archers which were broken were not inserted and I had to wait for someone to come from lunch to correct this.

During the weekend while checking my vehicle I noticed that my front number plate was not correctly put on, which I has to correct.

There are 2 black mud flaps that sit underneath the front bumper that are missing.

My front bumper was not done correctly, parts of the bumper trims that were black are now sprayed blue! You can see this from the pictures taken during the assessment as well.

My rear bumper the color does not match correctly on the side that was damaged, looking at the car in the shade you can see the difference in color.

These issues need to be resolved by Discovery as you assigned the panel shop which has not completed the repairs to standard.

Good day I have been to the panel shop and the components will be resolved on arrival of one more component. However, this panel shop does not know how components are arranged and fitted on a Subaru which is extremely concerning. The panel shop is insistent that the 2 black mud flaps that sit underneath the front bumper that are missing were not there and this incorrect, when I had dropped the vehicle off for the repair these were all present! I cannot understand why this panel shop was mandated to carry out the repairs if they do not know how to strip and assemble Subaru components. I am extremely disappointed.
