DISCOVERY INSURE AND CLIENT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !!!

Good Day Team,

Claim Number:***

THIS MY SAD STORY

The following happened to me leaving my vehicle damaged till now.

I have submitted a “Third-Party” claim whereby I have received 0 % assistance From “Stephen Van Niekerk” a Discovery Insure representative, till date has not assisted me nor given me feedback.

I submitted my claim with all the necessary paperwork and to date (almost 2 years) I have received no feedback, yet the client who caused the damage moved on with his life forgetting what he has done to my life and all the changes and financial struggles he caused that Iam still facing till date.

A recent follow-up was made whereby the “Discovery” rep, told me the claim was settled And their client has been sorted !!! !!!!!!!! WHAT !!!!!!!

What about me !!!!!!!!! This person took my only vehicle From me, with his “Negligence” and all he said to me at the time of the incident (Scene” “Iam insured” don't stress ). Insured does not mean anything !!!!!!, Till date “Discovery” nor the client communicated to me in this regard,I have made several attempts to speak to Stephen /client and every time I call he is busy and will call me back.

Discovery Insure and the client turned my whole life upside down,I had to make dept To buy a second vehicle from a family member just to contentious to go to work everyday, My vehicle is still standing in the garage with a huge amount of damage.

So this me saying enough is enough !!!! almost 2 years 0 results, So this is me informing Discovery Insure Iam taking this matter to Carte Blanche.

Scenario

Vehicle A-BMW Vehicle B-VW Polo

I (Vehicle A) was traveling in “Alwyn St” on Monday morning 07 November 2022 at 08:15 towards Simon Vermooten at the speed of 58 km. (Raining with wet road surface). Approximately 100m before the point of the accident I noticed vehicle B standing next to the island/crossing (on corner of Alwyn Street and Battery st) facing me. No indicator lights were utilized. I noticed that vehicle B rolled his car forward as if he wanted to turn right (towards and in front of me). I was not sure what his intentions were so I removed my (vehicle A) from gear and started to utilize my brakes to decrease speed to 50 km/h and I utilized my vehicle horn to indicate to vehicle B that I was approaching the intersection. The road I was traveling on allowed me the right of way and the other vehicle approaching must allow me to pass. As I approached and was approximately 10m away from vehicle B, vehicle B turned right in front of me with no indication. When I noticed that vehicle B was turning I engaged my brakes to an extend whereby my ABS system has reacted. Unfortunaley due to the wet road my vehicle started skidding when the ABS reacted. I crashed into vehicle B on my right hand side towards his front end. Due to the wet road and impact my car skidded sideways to a curve and I drove over a huge rock missing the fence and my vehicle came to stand still. Airbags of vehicle A did not activate. Vehicle B however suffered severe front end damage to an extend where to both airbags activated.
