Discovery Insure, all good while they take your money

Early this year I was ****** at gunpoint, resulting in the loss of lot of funds in my bank account together with my Phone, a Huawei Nova 9 SE, with the received Takealot voucher I was able to get a replacement phone, cheaper since approved amount was less

6 month later, last week this phone was ****** at the Gym, to note during this time

• Discovery never reduced my policy fees, I have been paying for the cover for my old Huawei Nova 9 SE, even though this phone was long removed from my policy • My replacement phone was bought using the Takealot voucher provided by Discovery, all they needed to do to get my replacement phones details is to check what phone was bough with the voucher they allocated to me

Discovery is now declining my claim, stated reason being ‘My phone details were never captured on their system’, it does not matter that they were still charging me for the Huawei Nova 9 SE or the fact that no one from them or Sharedvalue broker bothered to consult with me to get the phone detail, best thing they claim they can do is refund me my paid instalments , offering to provide proof of the replacement phone, invoice from Takealot bought with the approved voucher all fall into deaf ears

Talk about failing to take accountability and taking a cheap way out when it was good taking my policy amount since now, expect my cancellation of my insurance cover for all my cars+housing, will not be touching you guys again…ever
