DISCOVERY INSURE: A BIG DISAPOINTMENT!!!

I am unhappy and disappointed in Discovery Insure's service. My vehicle has been in repairs for almost 2 months now because the Discovery assigned assessor didn't do a thorough job in assessing the damage to my vehicle. This meant that the panelbeaters needed to order an additional vital car part (which was not quoted). Delivery of this car part added a further +/-17 working days to the repairs process.

I was told by one of the Discovery consultants that I had to indicate the extent of damage made to my vehicle on the accident report so that the assessor could identify the extent of damages correctly...so basically saying that I am at fault for the delay in repairs. How do I indicate the extent of damage on an accident report if I'm not a mechanic/engineer/panelbeater?

My understanding is that it is the assessors job to identify the extent of damage in order to provide an accurate quote to the panelbeaters??? Is that not the assessor's job???

There is no assistance from the assigned claim consultant -Masechaba Mohale and no regular updates on the progress of the repairs despite my email requests. I thought that the Discovery consultants are meant to be the middle man between the client/panelbeaters & car rental company. I must have been mistaken as I was left to make calls between panelbeaters and the car rental company on numerous occasions.

I really cannot wait for my vehicle be repaired and for my interactions (or lack there of) with Discovery to end. I absolutely didn't expect such poor service from an organization such as Discovery...I'm extremely disappointed and would not recommend Discovery Insure to anyone.
