Discovery insure

I've had a armed ******* on the 5th of November last year and my claim is still not done! Why must it take so long? Why did I have to wait for 7 weeks for my car to be paid out and I had to pay AVIS R5 000 + for the extra weeks that I had to use their car. I'm rather fed up with this whole claim! Discovery also won't pay for things that was ****** because I didn't have proof of ownership... do you take photos of your eg. Memory stick or powerbank? Well, I never did it!
