Discovery Insurance - worst short term insurance company

Discovery Insure is the worst short term insurance company we have ever come across. Our house was destroyed by the sea in the recent monster storm and we suffered terrible damage with the waves having crashed right through and over our house. It is nou almost two months later and they are not at all performing. They keep on sending the one assessor after the other clearly in order to bring down the claim. This is beyond belief. We cannot live in the house now. The latest assessor clearly does not understand sea water damage and the black mold it causes. They are ignoring or arguing against the reports we have been sending them by qualified and experienced tradesmen. This has been a horrifying experience. We cannot repair our house. We cannot move back in. We deeply regret ever having considered using discovery insure and it was clearly a serious mistake. Discovery is quick to take premiums but clearly does not like paying serious claims. We pay premiums every month without default. This is not the kind of treatment we expect from a so called reputable company.
