Discovery Insurance is extremely ***********

I have been waiting to received a reservation number for a courtesy car for more than 24 hours now already. I was involved in a minor car accident on 25 March 2019 and received a courtesy car the following day. I was, however, advised by one of the consultants that if I do not use the hired car, I can return it so that I can save "number of vehicle use" as my car is getting ready to be fixed.

As such, I returned it to Avis on Monday, 15th April with the intention of collecting it on Today, 19th. I kindly requested Gordon van Wyk (Direct Claims Consultant – Specialist Claims) to make a reservation booking yesterday morning with the sole hope of collecting the car for the long weekend as well as for work purposes as I am an auditor by profession, however, I only received an order number GP/*** last night. This morning Avis informs me that no reservation was made and I am left stranded in Kimberley without a car to go on a long weekend getaway or even to work on Tuesday.

This is gross incompetence and it is not acceptable that I have to be treated in this fashion, especially on an important weekend like this. I trust someone will explain how will I get out of this conundrum today. I am extremely unhappy and boiling with fire.
