Discovery FREE Car-wash campaign was not Fulfilled
Plan holder: Mncedisi Kellem, <br> I was promised by my insurer Discovery that on the 18th July (Mandela's day) I can visit any BP participant garage and get a free car wash, Discovery never provided the closes participant BP garages to me as a customer for my convenience. <br> I went to Cape Town Airport BP garage and could not found any car wash, again to Wetton BP garages, one of the Wetton BP confirmed that they declined participating on a free car-wash. and I spent about an hour driving around my nearest BP garages and I could not found a participating Car-wash BP garage, I felt like a stupid, wasted my Petrol driving around and wasted my time.<br> <br> I am so unhappy about Discovery car-wash campaign - that promise was not true and was a waste of time, money and petrol to me.
We apologise for the fact that you were placed in an inconvenient situation on Saturday however we specifically informed you that the free car wash was only available at participating BPs.
On the 16th of July 2015 at 23:28:10 we sent you an email with a link that specifically showed which BPs were participating in this offer.
On the 17th of July 2015 at 17:20:11 we then sent you a sms that also had a link which showed the BPs participating in this offer.
In light of the above we cannot be held liable for the fact that you wasted your time or your petrol. If you accessed the links on either the email or the sms you would have been aware of the fact that the BP at the Cape Town airport and the BPs in Wetton were not participating in this offer.
