Discovery Drive not worth the effort

Paying a large insurance premium every month to ensure you well covered and receive the benefits offered yet they cant help you. I have a discovery drive card with a benefit of receiving cash back for filling up at discovery, guess what??? discovery cannot pick up the card and I have been using it for the past 16 months. They say to me I can lose all the points for the last 16 months and I have an option to get a new card from tiger wheel and tire.....this is just ridiculous . I explained to the consultant that I cant give her the card number due to the number being erased of the card, I do have slips to show the fuel purchased and the card number is on the slip, is it so difficult to pick up a card if I provide the number reflected on the slip. I then asked for a manager and was then told they back date 3 months worth of points if I send them all the slips I have. This is unacceptable as I lose out on 16 months. I am frustrated fighting this and it needs to be resolved. I will not accept 3 months and can someone make me understand how a large institute cant pick up their own cards on the system.
