Discovery Drive insurance - nightmare

Having been on discovery drive insure for the last 7 weeks, I can honestly say that the the drive sensor and app scoring system needs to be tweaked. Firstly the speeds limits on certain roads are incorrect, it shows as 60 on the app but there's a sign on the road saying 80. Realistically speaking adhering to the 60km speed limit is virtually impossible when nobody else does, in parts of Durban this is the case. I've had taxis and other motorists become very aggressive and irritated with me trying to drive at 60 and thereby disrupting the flow of traffic. The stress of trying to do this everyday is simy not worth it. As for the harsh braking scoring, it's ridiculous, other motorists don't adhere to road rules and you end up braking unexpectedly, instead of being rewarded for being alert and reactive you get penalized. Maybe I should try gentle braking and bumping into other cars daily for a good score.

As mentioned, the good intentions of this system, cannot be realistically met in this country, where 95 percent of motorists don't adhere to raod rules. Fit in or become a victim of road rage, maybe give all I sure clients bumper stickers that read "please pass I'm with Discovery insure"
