Discovery claim

On 29 August 2022 I had an armed ******* at my house where my vehicle was ****** in the process. Matrix recovered my vehicle almost immediately. On Wednesday 31 August I went to the pound yard in Bellville as detectives was done with their investigation. I contacted Discovery to have my vehicle assessed. They sent their tow truck on 31.08.2022 to collect the vehicle to be assessed on 01.09.2022. When I contacted Discovery on 02.09.2022 to ask about the assessment no one knew where my vehicle was. As per what the detectives explained to me the vehicles spare wheel and accessories, battery cover and minor scratches on the bumper. On Monday 05.09.2022 when I called Discovery again to check what's happening I was told my vehicle will only be assessed on 07.09.2022. Eventually my vehicle was assessed on 13.09.2022 and was then driven to the panel beaters in Paarden Eiland to which no one is taking responsibility for as I could see this on my tracker and they are insisting that it was towed when there's 25kms added to my mileage and I could even see the speed my vehicle was driven at. After calling Discovery daily and the panel beaters I still don't have my vehicle 6 weeks later. Maureen who is a manager at Discovery sent me her personal email address the first week after the incident and said if I have any problems I could email her directly. I've sent her endless emails and not one response and when I call to speak to her she refuses to take my call. When I contacted the manager, Clinton at Superbody repairs in Paarden Eiland I was told that I'm not his client and that Discovery is even though he has my vehicle. He told me that he don't want my vehicle there as it's costing him money. When I told him if that's the case then I'll collect my vehicle immediately and he told me I totally misunderstood him. I informed Discovery about this 2 weeks ago and nothing was done about this. I must say please be careful when choosing insurance as it's been a huge struggle to get any feedback from them. 6 weeks without a vehicle!!!
