Discovery agents do NOT know their own product!!!!

I recently got a quote for my wife's car from Discovery Insure. I gave all the details including that my wife's car is still in her father's name. Without any problems the quote was sent through after which it was activated with only the engin number and VIN number missing. After I got the info I phoned in to get it included as well. The person I spoke to this time told me that I cannot include this car on my policy as it is still registered in my father in law's name and he is not financially dependent on me. The explanation was given that he has financial interest in the car which I can understand.<br> <br> Why did the first person I spoke to NOT tell me this? Is this how Discovery Insure trains their employees to squeeze every cent out of hard working South Africans? This would have cost me an additional R855.00 per month!!!
