Discover Insure app is incompatable with Hauwei P20 phone

I am struggling to get my discover drive points to work on my discovery app for the discover awards. After phoning the help desk I was informed that my phone is not compatible. I am using a Hauwei P20. This never came out when I talked to the sales consultant, nor did the person at Tiger Wheel and Tyre informed me of incomparability issues (not that I expected that person to know that that). The help desk consultant said that I have a second option available to me. The option is for a stand alone tracking unit, which will cost me an additional R80 a month. In the long run Discovery is not cheaper than any other insurer. I have the additional hassle to carry technology that is not compatible with my phone. I am not long with Discovery Insure, and I am already regretting the move over. I am NOT changing phones just to help Discovery. I like my P20. I am NOT going for the stand alone option. I will just go back to my original insurer. Discovery you are very good in health, but you a lacking on short term insurance.
