Disappointing Discovery

Unfortunately due to flood damaged cottage - needed to claim on Discovery Insurance. The individual I was informed would be attending to our claim at Discovery was never reachable – failed to respond to messages left to contact us directly. Despite an urgent message given. Did not respond directly to us despite requests to do so on a number of occasions via e mail. Underquoted on a number of items. Company selected to attend to repairs by Discovery proved to be unbelievably unreliable – not once keeping to times arranged. Confusion regarding salvage companies just incredible – eventually discovering 2 salvage companies were attending to our case – neither being accurately informed by Discovery as to directions to take. Informed all was complete with Claim with no call to confirm same with us. No response received on negative report sent Discovery on their survey. Discovery’s highly unprofessional and uncaring service and attitude is highly disappointing.
