Disappointed in the response I got from discovery

Very disappointed. I had an accident about a year ago and when I claimed with discovery they sent me to a Panelbeater to fix my car. I recently went to service my car at a mechanic and they said when u had an accident part of your car was not replaced and was broken (the radiator fan) I then contacted discovery and they said because the accident was a year ago I cannot claim for it. It’s not going to cost me R5000 to fix! I pay so much to discovery every month and they cannot help me with a damage I had from my accident and was not fixed. I’m very disappointed.
