Delighting your Customer

This is my first post on Hello Peter, and I do not expect to be making many more.

Tasmina Nair, from the Discovery Insure Platinum Purple Team, went far beyond what was required or expected of her when she dealt with my claim for a ****** cell phone.

By my own fault; I was outside the parameters of my policy. Tasmina listened to my story and took up the matter with her Management Team and persuaded them to honour the claim. It was completely unexpected; she gave me no indication of what she would do. She had listened empathetically to me when she called to tell me the claim was to be rejected, contrary to an early indication it would be agreed. The reason for rejection was valid; Discovery was within its rights. I had accepted the decision. So, I was surprised when she told me the claim would be honoured.

I could not let Tasmina's actions and wonderful attitude go unrecognised.
