Deliberate obfuscation by Discovery Insure.

On 2 Feb 2025 my iMac was rendered inoperative by a power surge. I lodged a claim and was assigned a claims administrator who has been very responsive at all times. A company was sent out to assess the iMac and I understand they advised that a replacement is necessary. They also obtained the specifications of the iMac. Discovery Insure first came with an offer of a very substantial downgrade to my existing but inoperative equipment. I declined this on the basis of the downgrade. They advised me to get a quote of like for like which I provided. In response to this they came once again with another offer of a substantial downgrade. Both downgrades were recommended by some faceless "moderator" as they call this person, who seems to be an expert in obfuscation, is able to make arbitrary decisions as they see fit, and is not held accountable for anything that they do. The customer comes always last, it seems.
