decision being made to repair the vehicle

In regards with above mentioned the following: Above mentioned vehicle has been at above mentioned repair shop from end of January. As a keen Toyota supporter I am highly unsatisfied with the service I am receiving. I have been only made promises regarding the repair of my vehicle. These promises only kept on escalating with me still not having a confirmed date on when my vehicle will be returned. This to me is totally unacceptable. Following dates has been related to me for the supply of the harness: • 21 February – Delay on wiring harness • 26 February – Still waiting for harness • 12 March – Harness will be delivered on 10 April • 10 April – Only partial harness delivered • 17 April – Thompson Body informed me that the remainder will only arrive July. At this stage I am convinced that this date will also not be sufficed. My concern is that I am currently without a vehicle from early January. I have a twin boys aged two years and a boy five years old which needs to be transported every day to school etc. I am currently totally relying on friends and family for all my transportation needs, not even mentioning that I and my wife needs to get to work as well. This to me is totally unacceptable as client. Currently I am still paying my monthly instalment, still paying my insurance without any benefit of having a vehicle or any other means of compensation. Shouldn’t the following questions have been raised before the decision being made to repair the vehicle? • What is the lead time on the spares? • Are the spares available in SA? Apparently the computer box will arrive from overseas. • Will the client be able to be without transportation for at least seven months? (Current Status) • Was I anyway taking in consideration as a loyal paying client? I do not how to express my dissatisfaction with service I am receiving. I strongly feel that I need to be assisted with either a vehicle or financial compensation. Unfortunately I cannot afford to rent a vehicle as I already had to pay excess on the vehicle I had for two weeks. Can this matter please be resolved urgently in a professional way to benefit all involved parties? Currently I am drastically thinking of taking further steps in this unfortunate matter. Please assist in any way possible for all parties to have a reasonable solution for this crisis I am currently prevailing myself in. Kindly find attached all correspondence about my complain that I want to put in.

Our bakkie was ****** in January and the help from discovery tracking it was very good even the service we had to take it to repairs was great was fast moving and they kept us informed on the where about of the Bakkie..

But unfortunately the service went from very good to unspeakable bad!

We are still waiting today for our bakkie to be repaired, as per Thompsons body bakkie will be done by next week, my complain is that I had to do all following up on parts for our bakkie and with Toyota as per Discovery the situation was out of their hands so it was up to me to push for better delivery and services and the worst part is that it is 5 months that went by and we are paying Discovery and Bank/Toyota every month for our vehicle which we do not have and every month since our bakkie was ****** I had to arrange transport for our family which had a big impact on us financial there was no alternative vehicle/option for us.

We are very unhappy at the moment with discovery and will be looking for another insurance because of this bad services. Please advice on how Discovery will compensate us as per my mail above. Yesterday 20/05 received a call again to tell us they are waiting for another part..Computer Assy.
