<p>On the 22/04/2016 I was hit by a Discovery insure client. She admitted her negligence even to the police on the scene and on the accident report. She told me my car will be fixed by her insurance. I waited for her insurance to contact me about fixing my car until I decide to give them a call. I was told the person handling the matter was Rozannah Singh. I called her and she immediately emailed me third party claim form. I emailed the completed form back to her on the last week of May 2016. As per the for I expected the acknowledgement of reciept within 48 hours but that never happened. I made numerous calls and I sent two emails checking if evrything was in order but still no response. </p> <p> </p> <p>On the 13th/06/2016 I was lucky to get hold of Rozannah and she told me she has appointed the assessor to look into my car I therefore should expect a call from the assessor within 24hrs. The assessor called and instructed me to go to KZN Durban Panelbeaters for the assessment of the damage on my car. On the 15/06/2016 I went to that panelbeater as instructed and the car damaged was assessed.</p> <p> </p> <p>On the 27/06/2016 I recieved an email from Rozannah with two attachments. The first attachment was the Release form that I had to fill and sign. The other attachment had the quotation of Discovery Insure assessor. The release form had the settlement amount that corresponds with the assessor quotation.</p> <p>I was happy with the work of the assessor and the settlement amount, I therefore signed the Release form and sent it back to Rozannah Singh. About 1,5 hour late, I recieved another email from Rozannah saying the previous email was an error. The new settlement droped from R22 470 to R8094. I rep**** to Rizannah that this amount will not cover even 50% of the costs if fixing the car.</p> <p>From there Rozannah has been impolite to and saying I sent her that qoute of R8094 which I did not. On the emails she has been send to me after the drop of the settlement, she even herself acknoledged that this new settlement will not cover all the damages incured in my car by Discovery Insure client.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have been trusting Discovery as a reputable and honest company and even considering it as my car and health insure but after this incident and the attitude of Rozannah, Discovery is painted as a dishonest and unreliable company. </p> <p> </p> <p>I am hoping this platform will make means to resolve this matter. It it fails, I will consider other means to put an end into this cruelty and ********ity done by Discovery Insure.</p>
