Customers Pay You Salary and This is How We Are Treated!! Poor Customer Satisfaction!!
My pool level was dropping drastically. Claim logged and Discovery assigned 2 suppliers, 1 for pool pipe repairs and another for leak detection. The owner of FH Pools came to my property to assess under claim ***. He saw my deck and the complexity to get to the pipes. Accepted the job and got Discovery to send out leak detection. Leak detection arrived and reported a leak on the 1 line only (return and suction line). Pool guys came out to fix based on leak detection guidance (FH Pools even got this wrong and broke the concrete by my pool pipe necessarily, had to lift my turf) 3 way finger pointing exercise. This resulted in a 2nd leak detection after level were still dropping. This time round 2 new leaks detected on the same line, and now on the 2nd line as well which previously didn't have a leak. FH Pools came out again, huge complexity to remove the decking. Workers of FH Pools are exceptionally competent and I respect there level of workmanship. On the other hand the owner of FH Pools was pushing his workers to remediate and move onto the next site. You see Discovery has an agreement with their suppliers which causes suppliers to drive numbers and not quality of work in Discovery's or the Clients best interest. At this point in time FH Pools covered up all pipes after the when with no leak found and when I adding water pushing the water level up, the leaks started showing on the old white connectors which is clearly the problem. Unfortunately, FH Pools started closing up, instead of making sure the pipes are all goof. If we are going to have a come back, why is discovery not getting the while connectors replace while in the vicinity, it's a 2min job. #PushingNumbers. So while Discovery is driving the bill up based on their approach taken, who is impacted at the end of this all, you are right us as clients are impacted. I got my broker involved, Discovery forced that another claim is opened because of the high expenses, on the basis that there is now a leak on the 2nd line which wasn't there in the 1st place. So now, Discovery supplier approach are causing multiple call backs for a system problem that should have just been addressed and uncovered properly in the first place. 2nd Claim (***), it was specifically asked that the leak detection guys remain and FH Pools are replaced for proper diagnosis of what has been transpiring for proper course of action to be taken. No customer should be held accountable for damages created by an Insurers 3rd Party, yet this is exactly whats happening. 2nd Claim, 2nd round of excess to prove that the 1st wasn't handled correctly. Why is the client been dragged along because of your suppliers, should I start invoicing you in customer frustration and time of work which is creating your revenue? To get back onto topic, please explain to me why FH Pools was reassigned which we had the problem with and chasing costs up? We asked for the leak detection company to remain, yet they were replaced. Do you not listen to your customers or do you only listen to your suppliers? You customers are explaining whats happening on site yet you believe the supplier and make your customer sound like a ****, while the customer just wants the problem resolved while paying your salary! So a plumber was assigned to my house today, and I can clearly see that they haven't worked on many pool systems before. If I as a woman need to point out basics, this is a problem. Why is the guy uncoupling my pool pumps to insert a bladder into the same pipe thats connected to the pump just to create more leakages and chaos. So now because of the complexity I had to turn this company away. It is becoming clear that Discovery is not vetting their suppliers and just churning numbers. To date, Discovery have no decency to even revert back to me after multiple engagements, rather the claim gets closed out. My contract is between Discovery and I, and not a 3rd party. Because of your lack of understanding customer experience, you will probably be losing customers, including me. When you lose my household insurance you will lose my car insurance, then I will move my dollar account, Black accounts back to FNB along with my short term insurance, then slowly I will start dismantling my Discovery portfolio and move that back to FNB. This is the worst experience I have had with Discovery, yet you are the only broker and financial house that pushes up customer expenses and policies through the roof annually. This is like a cult! I am now a deeply disgruntled customer, ready to move my business. Most of all, I'm speaking up and pushed to this point so that every social media platform gets to hear my story. Other customers having the same problem will realize this is the Discovery way of treating clients and doing business.
