I was involved in a accident exactly a month ago (was rear ended while at a standstill). Discovery has confirmed the salvage value of the car is 40%, the repairs are at 52% AND you are anyways claiming from a 3rd party, yet you INSIST that the car must be repaired despite it being more than 1 month and the parts are STILL indefinitely on backorder? The dealer overseas has not even sent an invoice so yet so the parts can't even be sent so I'm looking at a minimum of another 2 months at least. How is it that the person that rear ended me already go sorted out, yet I, who was not at fault (confirmed) am still stuck paying insurance and installments on a car I won't even see any time soon. I would understand if you were not recovering the costs form the 3rd party's insurance and if the damages were minimal.. but this really seems like enough justification to just get me mobile again.
