Hello,<br> <br> motor claim was successful however I had to pay a petrol deposit on the hired car service provided by discovery insure.<br> <br> excess was 3500 + 1200 Petrol deposit and toll charges<br> <br> better yet I then had to take out extra waiver insurance on the car for the period in use.<br> <br> so the equation is not looking great for a insurance company of their stature...<br> <br> I called to enquire about it and never got an answer...... when I ask for the policy wording I got told I had received it in the schedule, key word is policy wording is not a schedule.<br> <br> so in a nut shell they failed in my eyes as service provider and failed to be a reliable insurance channel.<br> <br> please send me my policy wording!!! never have I ever had to pay more insurance on a service that is included in the event of a claim.<br> <br> regards<br> <br> <br>

Excess is the amount you contribute for each claim. It is correct that you were referred to the Plan Schedule as on that document you will find information on your Plan applicable excesses.
