I was with Discovery insuring a motor vehicle for the short duration of 4months (November 2019 to February 2020) and my car was involved in an accident on February 2020 Discovery Insurer paid the market value of R252k ASAP, no hustles no long questions no tucking no yucking and being referred back to my contract whatsoever. IT was a smooth process. Luckily I had a shortfall insurance which covered the remaining balance of R50k. During this lockdown am good without a car, and when in the future I decide to buy another vehicle definitely my first preference would be with Discovery, I had a good relationship with them shame.

07 May 2020, 14:56Thank you guys please continue being of great service in our nation, I am very thankful of such people and send my kind regards to Mr Shafick Allow in your Retentions Department based in Sandton branch, the last consultant who also advised me on what new products I can choose in order to continue being in touch with your valuable insurer. In fact all of the consultants I have dealt with at Discovery never gave me any hard time, from Mr Afrika who introduced me to this insurance company all the way to Mr Makgosa and all!
