Completely Unreliable Discovery Insure

Hello Peter on Nov 15.2015 Gauteng was hit with a bad storm that impacted me significantly. My dining area & study were soaked/damaged & I called my insurance company the very unreliable Discovery Insure who didn't show up until Nov 23.2015. To add insult to injury they've put me through a wringer to prove that the furniture is mine & wasn't purchased here. They then valued it at a miserly $1000 which they determined was the very best they could do. I hear they do that all the time to unsuspecting clients. After politely declining their madness & asking where in JBG one could purchase a dining set, 8 chairs, a side table, 3 rugs and two lamps for $1000 my claim was referred to Marie Fourie whose decided to do everything under the sun to frustrate my claim under the guise of discussions pending with \Senior Management". PS my policy is for 800000 Rand for household goods just in case you are wondering - that is more than needed to indemnify me. It's been two months I've missed two important holidays thanksgiving and Christmas around the dinner table- if you really need help stay away from Discovery Insure and especially the Claims Team Leader there's better insurance companies"""
