Clueless Supervisor and Manager bailed out by knowledgable staff

I filled my wife's vehicle with fuel and inadvertently used my own Vitality Drive Card instead of my wife's. The result would be that the fuel spend would be allocated against my Vitality Drive Benefit and not my wife's. I needed assistance therefore to move the fuel spend to the correct Vitality Drive Card. I had done this once before, and therefore knew it could be done. The consultant I spoke to told me it cannot be done and when I asked to speak to her supervisor, she told me she was the supervisor. I asked to speak to her manager, who after keeping me on hold for a really long time, told me that it cannot be done and that he had checked with 2 "specialists" who confirmed the same and stated that there is no record that I have done that before. In frustration I eventually agreed to disagree, but laid a complaint. I received a call back late yesterday from someone whose name I did not get, who confirmed that it can in fact be done and he had done the reallocation for me. After a really negative experience at the hands of a supervisor and manager who clearly had no idea of their product nor any s**** in dealing with such a query, it was refreshing to deal with a really helpful, courteous and knowledgable person. Subsequent to that, I added a new laptop to my cover and the gentleman who assisted me then transferred me to Gift Simango of Retentions, who assisted me to remove some items on cover which no longer need to be covered and assisted to rerate my policy and reduce my premium. The 3 people I spoke to later restored my confidence in Discovery Insure. When management doesn't now what they are doing, at least there are some staff who do. Thank you guys!
