claim unsettled since the 1st of May Claim number ***

<p>On the 1st of May 2016 we had a burglary at home. Lots of our personal items were ******. We contacted Discovery on the same evening to inform them of the break in. We got an email on the 4th from Martha Manabalala saying she is the person who will be handling our claim. But no call to see if we had gotten the mail or if we were fine or any sort of compassion.</p> <p>I called Martha on the 6th of May to find out why hasn’t an assessor contacted us as yet and why hasn’t anyone from Discovery contacted us after us reporting the burglary on the 1st. Martha apologised for not calling but assured me that the claim will be sorted out speedily. She assured me that an assessor would be appointed.</p> <p>I tried calling her again on the 10th but got no answer.</p> <p>I sent an email to Nicole van Heerden (operational Manager) on the 11th of May. She asked Roland Herman (team leader) to look into the claim. Roland Herman emailed me apologising for the delay but an assessor will be appointed. I got a mail on the 11th from Martha saying that our claim has been referred to an assessor and that the assessor will be in touch with us.</p> <p>Today is the 16th and still no assessor has contacted me. I tried calling Both Nicole and Roland but get no answer.</p> <p>We have been through a traumatic experience of having uninvited people invade our HOME and now we have to go to bed early every night because we have no TV otherwise our children get scared because it’s so quiet and jump at any noise they hear. Thanks Discovery for traumatising us even further even though our premiums go off every month on time and without any delay.</p> <p> </p>
