Claim no. ***

Put in a accidental damage claim for my phone (Sony Xperia Z3 Compact) and a claim for my wife's phone for loss (Samsung Neo Trend) on October. Upon putting the claims through via the website, both phones were listed as Phablets and didn't have any description to which phone was which. I systematically chose the phones per claim. Later I found out that the claims were reversed. They had my Sony as lost and my wife's Samsung as broken. I sent through a email to both agents who were dealing with the claims and told them that the phones need to be swopped, Sony Z3 to be processed as broken and needed repair and the Samsung to be marked as lost. The one agent Donovan followed up and changed the claim for the Samsung to loss and processed it quickly. Thanks Donovan. I received replacement phone for my wife within a few days. The other phone claim has not been changed, I have phone the agent (Lonwabo) , but he is always busy. I have left messages on his extension and emailed him and to date I still don't have any reply from him. I also sent through a quote to repair my Sony Z3 with the claim. I need to know what is happening with my claim???

Hi Thabani,

Thanks to Donovan Chetty for sorting out my wife's phone cliam with a s speedy manner. Now that my cliam for my Sony Z3 eventually, processed. I have now got another problem. I received a call CIR about my replacing my Sony Z3 Compact. They said that they don't have stock, and I would have to wait for stock. Alternatively, they offered other phones. As a big fan of the Sony brand I declined the offer to replace my Sony with another brand. CIR offered a Sony Z5 to me with no extra cost, which I agreed on. But then I got a call from J Cell Bar about delivery of my phone, so I thought that it was for the Sony Z5. So, I paid the exist and now received a Hauwei P8 and not a Sony Z5. I contacted the CIR and was told that the insurer cancelled the replacement because they didn't have stock. And then placed the order with J Cell Bar, I was not informed about this chnage and I was not given the option to chosose the replacement. I was quite happy to wait for the Z3 Compact and very happy to get the Sony Z5. I am very angry now that I was not consulted or was informed about the change of replacement providers. I don't want this Hauwei P8 , I want the Sony Z5 that was originally offered to me. I will be returning the phone.
