CLAIM DELAY - *** claim number

We were broken in to in February this year,

We proceded with the claim as per standard procedure, got all the Case numbers, made all the lists of missing items, an dit took a while, had to give proof of ownership of the TV, playstation etc. did not have receipts for all my jewellery but did have boxes of the watches etc. They said they were going to close the claim due to insufficient proof of ownership (bearing in mind that I had given them proof of everything except the jewellery. They did not want the claim to reflect as a long standing claim on their system!!!!!

they said they need proof of ownership of my jewellery so I duelly went to the lady that I had bought most of or at least a lot of my silver jewellery from for a copy of my invoices, they put it all on a valuation certificate for me and sent it to me.

Upon phoning them today they advise that my claim has been RED FLAGGED because of the valuation certificate being dated AFTER the *******??? REALLY It was requested of me and I requested from the lady the I bought my jewellery from.

They are stalling this claim and I am tired of phoning and not having ONE reply, not a phone call, not a reply to an email. (in fact they have calle dme ONCE) to tell me they are closing the claim until such time I provide proof of ownership, now I provide it and my claim is red flagged.

Thank you for taking my call.
As discussed I will refer this issue to claims management and revert to you once done.

Well
Here we are 3 weeks later and still no finalisation on my Discovery Insurance claim from February. Seems they dont even take Hello Peter Seriously, how can we expect themto take their clients seriously.
Now theyare discrediting my jeweller dueto the fact that they do not operate out of a mall or a shop, although they are a legitimate business.
My advice is DONOT INSURE THROUGH DISCOVERY
