Wow! What an amazing experience I had with my motor vehicle claim through Discovery Insure. Solly Mphela was the claims consultant who assisted me. The accident wasn't my fault, the 3rd party acknowledged that he was at fault, but I never expected my insurance to claim from the 3rd party's insurance so promptly. I reported the claim on 21/5/2021, the assessment was booked on 24/5/2021, the claim was approved on 25/5/2021. My vehicle was then booked in at the repair centre on 31/5/2021 and on 2/6/2021 I received confirmation from Discovery's legal recoveries agent, Thabiso Twala, that my excess has been waived because they acknowledged the accident was not my fault and they will recover the claim from the 3rd party. I received my vehicle on 4/6/2021, 2 weeks after initiating the claim, in perfect condition and very grateful that I did not have to pay any excess and struggle afterwards to recover the funds.
