Claim *** - Great South Autobody

Hello. I was involved in an accident on the 18th of August 2016. Discovery responsed to the accident and they were very helpful. I waited until the Assessor were done with my car to get a COURTESTY CAR. My Claim was appproved on the 24th of August and they said it will take 12 working days to fix my car. I than went to AVIS for a car on the 25th giving them enough time to fix my car. I had to call the repairers a week later on the 2th of September, to ask about my car as I have not received Feedback. They told me my car only went to panelbeating that day and they still need 12 working days and I understood. No feedback still, I called them again on the 12th of September and they are telling me that my car is in line for paint prop. They still need 12th working days from tofday. I had the courtesy car for 30 days and I need to return it on the 24th and my car will still not be fixed after I gave them enough time!!! They telling that they will give me a courtesy car and I need to pay R500.00 Imagine. I emailed my Claims consultant and she has not rep**** to my query. Her name is Lerato Ntsele. I NEED MY CAR FIX ON THE 23TH NO EXCUSES OR I AM CANCELLING MY COVER AS I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I AM GETTING. THE DISCOVERY APP IS NOT SHOWING THE PROGESS OF MY CLAIMS AND THE REPAIERED ARE SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW AND DISCOVERY ISN'T DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I will cancel and I won't pay the Excess for that car to be fixed!!!

We note your complaint with the delays of part in back order and the fact that your car hire benefits will expire on Saturday the 24th.

Whilst we empathise with you on the frustrations experienced as a result, as an insurer we have no control of the time parts take to arrive. We are therefore unable to extend car hire benefits unless it was our claims processes that led to the delays to complete quality repairs.

In the same manner, we will bring your dissatisfaction to the attention of the repairer and ask if they will be in a position to help with a courtesy car.

We apologise that you feel let down by our service experience.

Regards,
Sekgobola
