Claim ***: poor response

6 August - hit a pothole/ditch on S55 near Frankfurt. Called Euroassist for towing. Car was to be taken to Standerton not Johannesburg. Understand process to follow, but to then tow car twice? Not sure it makes sense. But a note was taken in this regards. Euroassist did work well.

8 August - called at 08h06 to check car location and advise the consultant that I would prefer for the car to be taken to JHB as it would not make sense to take to Standerton.

Call from claims consultant and then mail saying that she could not get hold off me. Called back but number engaged for some time. Not able to speak to consultant. Was helped by Florence and again asked her about the vehicle and to take it to JNB. Thank you to Florence. Notes was done and Lerato was advised that this was the request. Sgain by afternoon no change and car still in Frankfurt. Asked to speak to Supervisor, none avaliable even after 15 min??

10 August - car still in Frankfurt. When I again called Discovery, the claims handler not available, not responding to email and not calling back. Sent me a mail after my call to say she was waiting for the assessment report. HOW WOULD THIS BE POSSIBLE AS THE CAR STILL IN FRANKFURT??? And claims consultant not aware? Asked to speak to Supervisor, again not available. Same as the handler.

11 August - car finally in JHB after I again called Wednesday afternoon. I called again as no feedback from Discovery on status. Asked when the assessor would go out and was told still Thursday. I asked how I would know and was told that a mail was sent. Well, how would I now trust this now?

12 August - still no feedback and I called again asking if I could talk to Lerato or if she could call me. Still waiting for that call back since monday....so, I called and was told that feedback would be given by afternoon.

13 August - Told feedback would be given Monday. Well, suprise surprise, nothing.

14 August - 08h30, assesor report received and Lerato would call me shortly to advise on the next steps. O, yeah, 20h00, nothing.

This is not acceptable. I do expect to at least be called to advise status of the claim and a response on a mail. And how can a Supervisor not be available? I would really like to know what is happening with my car.
